Water Project

Pure water is the world’s first and foremost medicine.

 

#RotaryColomboMetropolitan handed over a reverse osmosis water purification system to Giri Ruggassagara Junior College, a school in Giriulla. This system will give access to clean drinking water for the 104 students at the school, interestingly this school has a 100% pass rate at the last GCE Ordinary Levels examination in Giriulla education zone and is also ranked the top for best results.

 

Thank You Amitha Silva and the Silvermill Group in helping identify the school and help coordinate the installation of the water purification system. This project was funded by a district grant and supplemented by club funds.
